Pogacar Cycling monster

Tadej Pogačar is a Slovenian professional road cyclist who was born on September 21, 1998, in Komenda, Slovenia. He is currently one of the most dominant riders in the sport, having won the Tour de France two years in a row in 2020 and 2021.

Pogačar first burst onto the scene in 2018 as a member of the UAE Team Emirates, winning the Tour de l'Avenir and finishing third in the Tour of California. He continued to impress in his debut season as a WorldTour rider in 2019, winning the Tour of California and finishing third overall in the Vuelta a España.

However, it was in 2020 that Pogačar truly established himself as a force to be reckoned with. He won the Tour de France in his debut appearance, becoming the youngest rider to win the race since 1904, and also won the white jersey for the best young rider and the polka dot jersey for the King of the Mountains. He then followed that up with victories in the Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the UAE Tour.

In 2021, Pogačar defended his Tour de France title in dominant fashion, winning three stages and finishing more than five minutes ahead of his nearest rival. He also won the UAE Tour and the Tour of Slovenia, demonstrating his versatility as a rider.

Pogačar is known for his climbing abilities and his aggressive racing style, often attacking on steep ascents and putting his rivals under pressure. He is also an excellent time trialist and has shown himself to be a formidable all-around rider.

PAt just 24 years old, Pogačar is already considered one of the greatest riders of his generation, and his impressive performances in recent years suggest that he has the potential to become one of the all-time greats of the sport.
